Heartful Daze
Term 1 is over. Well, just about over. Had two new students join our legendary class. I think Estelle knows one of them, which may or may not lead to alot more problems for me.
School seems so…idyllic. Chatted with a bunch of seniors, who agreed that the Year 5 is a honeymoon year. Certainly feels like it, with our teachers giving us little work, and what little we get is finished in class.
Also managed to pen yet another poem today, during EL. Instantly struck me that I’ve developed a pretty distinctive writing style, especially after Gen commented that it was a ‘typical Darren poem’. Well, I didn’t really like it anyway.
Ah well. Tomorrow the last day of term 1. Little homework given. One week break ahead. All is peaceful.
Antics
Cielo broke her voice. It was funny. I will forever remember the look on Julianna’s face when she heard Cielo speak.
Also, treated to JMac and Aleks (aka Irish Mafia and Bulgarian Henchman) running around the 5.9 classroom fighting over the baht coin. Interesting when they start saying things like “Stop trying to grab my baht!”, etc etc. Reminds me of the thing with Gen and the dong coin (“Would you like to touch my dong?”).
Fun times.

Let the rain fall
Wettest Founder’s Day ever. Also the most colorful with all the umbrellas that popped up and the soaked students that laugh and shiver under them.
Not that I’m complaining, of course. I don’t really mind the rain. I kinda enjoy just standing there, feeling the raindrops fall on my face, or just strolling through the rain. It just feels nice. Cold, but I can handle the cold.
Shared Shao Xiong’s umbrella during the parade, also managed to have a nice conversation with him that continue when we were seated in the auditorium. A refreshing change, since I rarely ever interact with him, due to our completely different subjects. Of course, I don’t actually remember the conversation, but most of my conversations are wonderfully content-free (such as this blog), I don’t really NEED to remember them.
Such a wonderfully idyllic existence I lead. I ignore and/or put away anything that may spoil my mood. Well, except work, of course. Can’t ever avoid work. Bah. There goes my mood. Grr.
